Let me count the reasons! Since the 1890s, vacationers have
come to Naples to escape, but they couldn't keep it a secret
forever! More and more people are discovering Naples each
year.
Our average year round temperature is 75 degrees. The
sun-filled days bring a smile to your face.

Our beaches have recently been voted the best in America.
The white sandy beaches and beautiful blue waters expand for
miles along the Gulf of Mexico offering sunbathing, walking,
swimming, fishing, biking, boating ...
With our perfect weather, there is always GOLF! Naples and
GOLF are almost synonymous. Public, semi-private, and private
courses are plentiful. Southwest Florida ranks near the top in
the country in terms of golf courses per capita.
For those who want to get back to nature, Naples has
preserves, sanctuaries, a zoo, and parks. Various trips to
view the manatees, dolphins, birds and swamp lands just to
name a few are available. Or you may just want to learn more
about the sand dollars and seashells that line the beach.

Naples has a reputation, also, as a sophisticated cultural
"town". The Philharmonic Center for the Arts offers performing
artists, plays, opera, and musicians with performances
throughout the year. The Naples Museum of Art is located
within "The Phil" as well.
Art is a vital part of this culture. The Naples Art
Association celebrated its 50th anniversary recently.
Galleries galore can be found in the Naples 5th Avenue South
section of town.
Other performing arts entertainment can be found in the areas
community theatres. The Sugden Community Theatre recently
celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Naples doesn't disappoint the avid shoppers, either! The
choices are endless from the 3rd Street and 5th Avenue
boutiques to two different Outlet Centers, as well as
Waterside shops and "Village" shopping.
Our restaurants are well known for their fresh seafood and
tropical flair. The finest restaurants are scattered
throughout Naples. If you are looking for dining by the water
or a cozy, Italian restaurant, Naples will delight you.

Many locals as well as vacationers choose to spend the end
of their day viewing sunset at the Naples Pier. Here you will
see a variety of people as well as pelicans, and if you are
lucky even the dolphin. The sunsets are exquisite.
